The Benefits of Using a Pre-Listing Package
Having used a pre-listing package for over 20 years, I found that it pre-sold the seller on a number of topics that I did not have to further discuss at the listing presentation. These topics included:
- My background and credentials as well as for my company.
- Market share, past track record, marketing plan, sale and listing comparables pertinent to potential listing
- I also include several questionnaires to help me gain an understanding to the potential client’s highest need. When you meet and address the seller’s expectations, the chances are high that you will get the listing. I have listed over 700 homes with little need for a long presentation because of my pre-listing package had done the work ahead of me arriving.
- Last but not least, I recommend that you put the seller’s name on every page. This forms a comfort in the mind of the seller that this pre-listing package was made specifically for them.
